So this is what creativity looks like.
The other day, I was preparing for my full-day Authentic Leadership workshop. I was creating a journey from what we as leaders long for to ending the day feeling confident, with fresh self-awareness, acceptance and the ability to switch off autopilot to make conscious choices to be creative, connected and resilient, rather than reactive, shut down, burnt out, overwhelmed, self-eviscerating, and inauthentic. It's about you being at your authentic best as leader of yourself and within relationships, organisations, communities and the world.
And this is what creating my workshops looks like...
...waking up with my shoulder painfully locked from sitting too long
...missing a beautiful spring day.
And if you said to me, "Fiona, you could have the life you dream of, but you could never be creative, you would never sit on the floor with all this mess", that wouldn't be the life for me, not for one second.
For creativity is...
...how I make real my vision of serving the world by helping people lead themselves and others from their hearts
...how I live a fulfilled life aligned with my core values of Love, Growth and Service
...where I feel alive.
Part of the success of life is knowing your process, and for me the mess and self-doubt is part of it. And the endless cups of tea of course.
